Terms & Condition
1. Eligibility
• Applicant must be an Indian citizen or resident.
• Minimum age: 18 years (21 years in some cases); Maximum age: 60 years (salaried), 65 years (self-employed).
• Must meet the income and credit score requirements set by the issuer.
2. Card Usage
• The card must be used only by the cardholder and must not be shared or transferred.
• Cardholders are responsible for all transactions made using the card.
• The card can be used for purchases, bill payments, cash withdrawals (with applicable charges), and online transactions.
3. Credit Limit
• The credit limit is assigned based on income, credit history, and risk assessment.
• Over-limit transactions may be allowed at the discretion of the issuer and may attract penalties.
4. Billing and Payment
• A monthly statement will be generated on the billing date, detailing all transactions, fees, and total due.
• The minimum amount due must be paid by the due date to avoid late payment charges.
• Full payment avoids interest charges; partial payment will incur interest on the outstanding amount.
• Payments can be made via net banking, NEFT, UPI, cheque, or auto-debit.
5. Interest and Charges
• Interest-free period: Up to 45–50 days (varies by issuer).
• Interest is charged if full payment is not made by the due date.
• Additional charges may include:
o Late payment fees
o Over-limit fees
o Cash withdrawal fees
o Foreign currency markup
o Annual/Renewal fee (if applicable)
6. Rewards and Offers
• Reward points or cashback earned on eligible transactions as per the reward program.
• Points are subject to expiry if not redeemed within a set period.
• Offers and discounts may be subject to partner T&Cs and can change without prior notice.
7. Loss or Theft of Cards
• Cardholder must report lost or stolen cards immediately to the bank’s customer care.
• The cardholder is liable for all transactions until the loss is reported.
• A replacement card may be issued upon request and applicable fee.
8. Termination or Cancellation
• The issuer reserves the right to terminate the card at any time for misuse, default, or non-compliance.
• The cardholder may cancel the card by requesting closure and clearing all outstanding dues.
• Post-closure, any refund or reversal will be settled via bank transfer.
9. Billing and Payment
• Discrepancies in the statement must be reported within 30 days of the statement date.
• The issuer will investigate and resolve genuine disputes as per RBI guidelines.
10. Data Privacy
• All personal and transactional data will be protected as per applicable data protection laws.
• The issuer may share customer data with regulatory bodies, credit bureaus, or partner platforms for credit scoring and service delivery.
11. Amendments
• The issuer may revise terms and conditions by notifying the cardholder in advance via email, SMS, or postal communication.
